Child Abuse : A Calamitous Issue

Proper and regular irrigation brings the efficient output in terms of crops. Several techniques, proper implementation through technology , manual labor in supervision of crops , Climatic conditions , Soil Texture etc are some of the factors to carry out the  harvest. There are multitude of institutions present worldwide for Agricultural Sciences, Food processing units and Packaging industries to produce gillions of food items. This is the scenario in today's world of technology and good educational facilities.

The developed nations are engaged in eradicating poverty through the means of basic amenities :- Providing shelter to the homeless people , arranging clothes and meal for two times. The political unions have also worked in their improvement through Government Schools, Hospitals and Employment.

I would like to pinpoint on some sensitive social issues that exist around us and the plentiful funds and facilities provided by the Government goes waste.

The United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) headquartered  in New York and introduced by the United Nations General Assembly after the impact of World war II on children, aiming to provide Health care and emergency food. This is one of the best example in this era of humanity, soon to be replaced by the Technology as per the issues and concerns that are going on in the world.

I was scrolling through the official Website of UNICEF and I collected some information, I am going to write down a short analysis on it:-

The Homepage of UNICEF says as:-

For every child,

1. A Fair Chance - Describing our own country in terms of fair chance is absurd and meaning less, I have seen children working at small restaurants and serving there. Watching their silent faces, I fill up with numerous words to write upon.

2. Health -  The second  factor that keeps us healthy is being fit physically and mentally. The developed nations are emphasizing on providing health benefits by bringing in practice the best out of best medical hospitals and providing affordable treatment to women and children.

However this is extreme sadden to say that over 2 million children die every year in India due to preventable diseases such as Diptheria, Tetanus and Measles. Kwashiorkor and Marasmus are the other diseases that kill the children every year.

3. Education and Safety- 2.7 % of the total GDP is spent on the education of India (2018 survey),
However it is very unpleasant to say that according to UNESCO , India is among the bottom 15 countries according to the low Education for All Development Index.

Safety is a term which describes the safety of children in this article-domain, However according to National Crime Records Bureau , 24,923 records of rape were reported in India, in which 98% of the total record the criminal was known to the victim according to the rape statistics

4. New Idea and Clean Water - New idea and innovation in the minds of the children is a vague term, Parents are the decision makers.
According to the report by Water Aid,Water and Sanitation Non-Profit headquartered in London says that India Has the Worst Access to Safe Drinking Water in the World and 19% of the total world population without clean water lives in India.
We can not say out country a developing nation if the basic tools are not used to screw the foundation of the progress.

In the next part I shall focus on the Physical, Sexual, Mental , Emotional and Commercial Exploitation to the children around the world.
